Traditional Chinese Medicine holds that the body has an innate ability to heal itself through the balancing of Qi and its distribution through a system of meridians.Acupuncture is a complementary medicine in which very fine needles are inserted through the skin at specific points on meridians or at the ashi points. Along with needing, therapeutic massage, cupping, moxibustion and electrical stimulation can be used to assist the treatment.
My journey as an acupuncturist began with training over three years and culminated in a months hands on experience working in a hospital in Nanjing China. As a TCM practitioner I diagnose and treat in a holistic way looking at the patient as a whole along with the more obvious symptoms.
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything."

PUT YOUR BODY IN GOOD HANDS
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an ancient philosophy that describes the universe and the body in terms of two opposing forces Yin and Yang. When these forces are in balance the body is healthy.
NEEDLING & MOXIBUSTION
The best known of the Chinese Medicine techniques, acupuncture utilizes fine needles to clear the meridians through which Qi (Vital Energy) flows. Heat in the form of moxibustion or heat lamp is also used to to promote healing.
ELECTROACUPUNCTURE
Electroacupuncture uses a small electric current passing between pairs of acupuncture needles to augment treatment
TUINA MASSAGE
Tuina involves manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to assist recovery and enhance the patient's wellbeing
CUPPING
Cupping is used to promote local blood circulation and lymphatic drainage and to address areas of congestion and restriction.
